Returns, Replacements & Refunds
At Gilded Age Store, we operate a global fulfillment network. Return procedures and destinations are determined by both the production origin of the item and the geographic location of the buyer.
Defective or Damaged Items
We take great pride in our quality control. If you receive an item that is defective or damaged:

Notification: You must contact us at info@gildedagestore.com within 7 days of receipt.

Evidence: You must provide clear photographs of the defect/damage and the original packaging to allow us to verify the claim with our production partners.

Resolution: Upon verification and mutual agreement that the item is defective, our standard protocol is to issue a replacement of the original item at no additional cost to you.
30-Day Return Window
For non-defective items, we have a 30-day return policy. (Non-Custom Items Only)
Please note: This window does not apply to customized or handcrafted products, which are final sale as per our Exceptions policy below.
The Return Process
You must not send items back to the address on your shipping label or our corporate office without prior authorization.

Initiation: Contact us at info@gildedagestore.com.

RMA Number: If your return is accepted, we will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and the specific regional return address for the relevant fulfillment center.

Unauthorized Returns: Items sent back without an RMA number will not be accepted.
Exceptions

Customized Products: Any item custom-made or altered to your requirements (including our handcrafted products) is non-returnable unless verified as defective.

Hygiene Items: Items such as earrings are non-returnable for health reasons.

Digital Files: Digital memorial files are non-refundable once delivered.
European Union Rights
For merchandise shipped into the EU, consumers have a 14-day "cooling off" period to return items in original condition. In the case of faulty goods, EU consumers are entitled to a remedy which may include repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act.
